Created during junior year of undergrad, we were assigned to renovate an old auto-service garage building for an imaginary advertising agency, Polk-Schrager. Students were able to decide the branding and concept beyond those parameters. I used AutoCAD, Revit, and Photoshop for this project. Headquartered in Miami, advertising firm, Polk-Schrager, is now opening a new location in Charlotte, NC. Inspired from the exciting and dynamic murals found around the city of Miami combined with the chic and relaxed feel of the beach, this space will have employees excited to come to work, and people wanting to come into this space. With a public café as the main entrance, people will have the chance get a peek at the space when stopping for their daily coffee. A reception in the center leads to a cool co-working area where people can sit in an open shared space, or reserve a quiet office to work in. A cabana like structure leads to the Polk-Schrager office and serves as a small lounge area for those who need a little change of scenery from the typical desk.
